Hagia Sophia Museum
The Hagia Sophia Museum is considered one of the most important attractions in Istanbul. This place was built 1500 years ago as the Great Church of the Byzantine Empire and later changed to the mosque at the time of the Ottomans. The length of the building is 82 meters and its width is 73 meters and has an altitude of 55 meters. In 1953, this place became a museum that is now welcomed by many tourists.
Istiklal Street (İstiklâl Caddesi) and Taksim Square (Taksim Meydanı)
Istiklal Street is considered as one of the most popular streets for tourists, and it is the heart of Istanbul. It is a symbol of Istanbul with its famous railroad, which runs from the Taksim Square to the end of Istiklal Street. Varied shops, cozy restaurants and cafes, painters who sell their paintings are among the attractions of this neighborhood. You can also visit and buy something from this street as one of Istanbul’s sights. Most of Istanbul’s cheap and average hotels are located in this area. In the Taksim area, many of the surrounding streets are closed to cars so that tourists can spend time walking and using the restaurants in these neighborhoods.
The Bosporus Narrow is one of the most beautiful narrows in the world that divides Istanbul into two parts of Asia and Europe, and is the perfect place for boat trips and night crusies.
When you are moving in this narrow, you can see a lot of sights from Istanbul, including the beautiful and historic monuments such as the marvelous beach of the Marmara Sea, fishermen are busy fishing and the beautiful view of the seabirds, while on one side of you is Europe and on the other side is Asia.
